<p>The 8,480 m long double-track, partly triple-track tunnel was constructed using NATM. Approximately 50% was excavated by blasting in hard rock, the second half in soft ground with excavator drive with multiple pipe shields as well as a 550 m long section under compressed air up to 1.2 bar.</p>



<p>Contract value: 200 million euro</p>
